For Children Minimize

Research suggests that early exposure of children to various languages not only helps children acquire foreign languages more easily, but also develops other higher order thinking skills. The purpose of this section of the website is to encourage parents to expose children to the sounds of the Macedonian language through rhymes, songs, and books.

The Center currently offers two services for children: text and audio of rhymes and songs that children in Macedonia sing and enjoy, and a series of Macedonian children's books (сликовници) written by the Center's executive director and a parent herself, Biljana Belamaric Wilsey.
